How to register, where to preview the ballot, how to research the topics and candidates, and more.

Evaluate the Source

Before trusting anything you see on social media or anywhere else on the web,  you should evaluate it for accuracy and bias. A good way to do that is to apply the CRAAP test. The CRAAP Test is an evaluation method that was designed by librarian Sarah Blakeslee at the Meriam Library California State University, Chico. CRAAP stands for Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy and Purpose. This provides you with a method and list of questions to evaluate the nature and value of the information that you find.
